Kids need us to make the right decisions for their future. That means choosing the best voice for students on our school board. Through her years of service, Anne Darr has proven she is the right choice for our students.
Anne Darr is the experienced, trustworthy leader we need on the FWISD School Board. Anne has devoted her life to public education, from teaching special education to equipping teachers and students. Anne is the easy choice for FWISD School Board!
An award-winning educator, Anne has taught in pre-K to post-secondary classrooms. She currently serves over 70,000 educators and more than half a million students. Anne is an expert in education, a devoted FWISD mom, and she is personally invested in the success of our students. Her two oldest kids graduated from FWISD, and her youngest is currently enrolled in our public schools.
No one is more qualified, and no one cares more.
Anne believes that an investment in children is the greatest investment we can make, but we must be smart about it. With responsible budgeting and strategic spending, she works to do more with less to give our kids a first-rate education without imposing exorbitant tax burdens on Fort Worth families.
Anne has more than 20 years of teaching experience ranging from pre-K to college. She has seen what works and what doesn't and has the know-how to make sure every FWISD student reaches their full potential.
Schools should be educational, fun, and—most importantly—safe. As an educational consultant helping 70,000+ educators better serve more than half a million students in our local area, Anne has the practical experience to apply large-scale plans to ensure each school is not only performing their best, but every student and teacher is protected on campus.
